Working Principle
Raw compressed air discharged from screw compressor flows from outside to inside through gradient synthetic fiber media.
Large solid contaminants including pipeline rust, metal dust and sand particles are trapped by outer fiber layers.
Bulk condensed water droplets and free liquid oil collide with hydrophobic fibers, coalesce into large droplets and drain downwards to filter bowl via gravity.
Pre-cleaned compressed air flows downstream to medium coalescing filter for submicron oil mist removal.
Filter media cannot be cleaned, washed or regenerated; full element replacement is required once saturated by dust and water sludge contaminants.
