Coalescing Working Principle
Pre-cleaned compressed air from MKO-1210X medium coalescer enters outer polyester drainage fleece layer; large water and oil droplets are intercepted and flow downwards to drain port by gravity.
Remaining 0.01 μm submicron liquid oil mist penetrates multi-layer gradient micro-glass fiber media; tiny oil particles collide, aggregate and coalesce into continuous liquid oil films on fiber surfaces.
Ultra-polished compressed air with residual liquid oil ≤0.01 ppm flows downstream to MKO-1210A activated carbon final stage for oil vapor and oily odor elimination.
The element cannot be cleaned or regenerated on-site. Once saturated with oil sludge and fine dust, differential pressure surges and separation efficiency fails, requiring full cartridge replacement.
