Coalescing Working Principle
Pre-filtered compressed air from MKO-1210-P particulate filter enters outer polyester drainage fleece; large water and oil droplets are intercepted and flow downwards to drain port by gravity.
Remaining 1 μm oil mist and fine dust penetrate multi-layer gradient glass fiber; tiny liquid particles collide, aggregate and coalesce into continuous liquid film that flows back down to drain.
Processed compressed air with residual liquid oil ≤1 ppm flows downstream to MKO-1210Y for 0.01 μm ultra-fine polishing filtration.
The element cannot be cleaned or regenerated on-site. Once saturated with oil sludge and dust, differential pressure surges and separation efficiency fails, requiring full cartridge replacement.
