Coalescing Working Principle
Low-oil compressed air (≤1 ppm liquid oil) from E110KD medium coalescer flows into the outer foam pre-filter layer of E110KE. Large water and oil droplets are trapped and drain downward via gravity condensate port.
Remaining 0.01 μm submicron liquid oil mist penetrates multi-layer gradient glass fiber media; tiny oil particles collide, aggregate and coalesce into continuous liquid oil films on fiber surfaces.
Fully polished compressed air (≤0.01 ppm residual liquid oil) passes through the inner barrier layer and flows out to the E110KA activated carbon final stage.
After long-term service, media pores become fully saturated with oil sludge; differential pressure rises sharply and separation efficiency drops, requiring full cartridge replacement.
