Installed after tank primary air-oil separator, E46KD captures residual submicron oil mist that primary separators cannot intercept. It lowers outlet air residual oil below 0.1ppm, fully protecting precision downstream equipment such as adsorption dryers, activated carbon filters, laser cutting machines and painting production lines from oil contamination.
Multi-layer gradient glass fiber media with stable low pressure loss and long service cycle
Imported multi-gradient coalescing media provides large oil sludge contaminant holding capacity, slowing differential pressure rise throughout full service life. Layered fiber structure continuously aggregates micro oil droplets into liquid film for gravity reflux, maintaining consistent ultra-high separation efficiency without performance decay.
Independent spin-on design with dedicated oil return circuit eliminates secondary oil carryover
Coalesced liquid oil flows out via top built-in oil return port and returns to compressor lubrication system, avoiding separated oil being blown back into clean air stream by high-speed turbulent airflow. Steady low oil carryover performance is sustained for the entire service cycle.
Anti-static full metal structure eliminates static ignition risk
All internal metal support frameworks adopt conductive anti-static treatment, releasing static charge generated by high-speed air and oil mist friction inside the filter, eliminating hidden fire hazards in oil-air mixed working environment.
Universal spin-on one-person rapid maintenance design
Standard universal threaded spin-on structure. After complete compressor shutdown, system pressure venting and oil circuit isolation, maintenance staff can unscrew old filter and install new cartridge within 2 minutes with only a belt wrench, drastically shortening production downtime during servicing.
Inline Air-Oil Separation Working Principle
Low-oil compressed air discharged from compressor air receiver tank flows into the outer cavity of E46KD spin-on separator.
Ultra-fine 0.01μm residual oil mist aerosols penetrate multi-layer gradient glass fiber coalescing media; tiny oil particles collide, aggregate and coalesce into continuous liquid oil films on fiber surfaces.
Coalesced liquid oil flows upward along media layers, converges into the top built-in oil return port, and refluxes back to compressor oil sump for circulation reuse.
Ultra-clean oil-free compressed air (residual oil ≤0.1ppm) passes through the inner core support tube and flows out to downstream air treatment equipment and production terminals.
When media is fully saturated with carbon sludge and oil deposits, differential pressure rises sharply; excessive pressure difference may crack glass fiber media and cause massive oil carryover fault.
