Function：Power transmission inside gearbox, match rotating speed of main motor and screw rotor, guarantee stable torque transfer for air‑end. Work in pair with mating driven gear.

Common faults：tooth surface pitting, wear, tooth chipping / broken teeth; abnormal gearbox noise, vibration, overheating; metal particle contamination in lubricating oil; host locking risk in severe cases.

Applications

Maintenance suggestion：Must replace paired gear set together instead of single gear; thoroughly clean gear‑box housing; replace gear‑box oil at the same time; check bearing condition; test run and monitor noise, vibration and temperature after installation.
