Compressor Belts

The SPZ1587LD is a metric wedge designed for high-power transmission in compact drive layouts. The "SPZ" denotes a narrow wedge section , "1587" refers to the pitch  length of 1587 mm, and "LD" typically indicates a specific brand variant, raw-edge cogged construction, or a particular manufacturer's series. It is constructed with high-strength polyester tensile cords and a specialized rubber compound  to transmit power efficiently from motors to driven equipment.

Function / Features:

Power Transmission:​ Transfers rotational force from a drive pulley  to a driven pulley  with high efficiency.

High Power / Compact Design:​ The narrow wedge profile allows for higher power transmission compared to classical V-belts of the same top width, enabling smaller pulley diameters and shorter center distances.

Raw Edge / Cogged:​ If "LD" implies a cogged  raw-edge belt, it offers greater flexibility around small pulleys, reduced bending heat, better grip, and improved energy efficiency compared to wrapped belts.

Durability:​ Reinforced with polyester cords for low stretch, and made with oil, heat, and abrasion-resistant rubber compounds. Generally static-dissipating  per ISO standards.
