Coalescing Working Principle
Pre-cleaned compressed air from MKO-1210X medium coalescer enters outer polyester drainage fleece layer; large water/oil droplets separate and drain downwards to the drain port by gravity.
Remaining 0.01 μm submicron liquid oil mist penetrates multi-layer gradient glass fiber media; tiny oil particles collide, aggregate and coalesce into continuous liquid oil films on fiber surfaces.
Ultra-polished compressed air with residual liquid oil ≤0.01 ppm flows downstream to MKO-1210A activated carbon final stage for oil vapor & odor removal.
The element cannot be cleaned or regenerated on-site. Once saturated with oil sludge, differential pressure surges and separation efficiency fails, requiring full cartridge replacement.
