Working Principle
Pre-cleaned compressed air from PD particulate prefilter flows outside-in through the filter cartridge:
Bulk liquid water and large solid particles are blocked by outer blue hydrophobic foam;
Micro oil & water aerosols collide and coalesce into large liquid droplets across multi-layer gradient glass fiber media;
Outer blue anti-re-entrainment foam sleeve stops coalesced liquid droplets from being re-carried by high-speed airflow;
Condensed oil and water drain down to the filter bowl by gravity;
Medium-clean dry compressed air is delivered downstream to QD ultra-high efficiency coalescing filter for ultra-fine precision polishing treatment.
