Working Principle
As the compressor operates, it draws in large volumes of ambient air. The 6.4198.0 removes airborne contaminants through three key mechanisms:
Surface Interception: Large dust particles are trapped on the outer pleated surface.
Depth Filtration: Medium‑sized particles penetrate the porous paper and become embedded within the fiber layers.
Adsorption: Fine dust and moisture adhere to the cellulose fibers via electrostatic and van der Waals forces.
Only clean air passes through the center of the filter into the compressor’s airend, protecting rotors, bearings, and other precision components from abrasive wear. This ensures stable performance, reduces maintenance costs, and extends equipment service life.
