NSP01240 compressor air/oil separator element is a critical component in the lubricated screw air compressor system, ensuring the purity and quality of compressed air. This element functions by separating oil from the compressed air stream to prevent contamination and maintain system efficiency.

The design of NSP01240 compressor air/oil separator element is sophisticated, featuring multiple layers of fine fiber glass wound into a cylindrical shape. These materials have excellent filtration properties, capable of capturing oil droplets as small as 0.1 microns. When the hot, oil-laden compressed air enters the air/oil separator element, it passes through these layers. The centrifugal force generated by the high-speed airflow pushes larger oil droplets to the outer walls of the separator, where they coalesce and fall to the bottom. Smaller droplets are caught by the filter media, allowing only clean air to pass through.
