NS011720 high strength air oil separator filter element intends to remove oil from the compressed air stream. When air is compressed, it carries over oil droplets and mist, which can cause several issues if not removed. These include decreased efficiency of pneumatic tools, environmental pollution, and increased costs due to oil loss.
As the compressed air passes through the air oil separator filter element, the oil aerosols coalesce on the filter media due to inertial collision and diffusion. The coalesced oil droplets then drain back into the air compressor's oil sump under the influence of gravity. The cleaned air, free from oil particles, is then directed to the air receiver and subsequently to the point of use.
