The filtration media used in 640181 air/oil separator element is made of borosilicate micro glass fiber, known for its high-temperature resistance, chemical stability, and excellent filtration properties. The gasket uses an organic fiber bonded with NBR / SBR, ensuring a tight seal and preventing leaks around the filter housing.

The flow direction is out-to-in, meaning the air enters the outer side of the air/oil separator element and the separated clean air exits through the center. This design ensures maximum contact time with the filtration media for enhanced separation efficiency.
