After the air is compressed, it contains fine oil aerosols that are carried over from the compression chamber. 6.2018.0 high performance air/oil separator filter is designed to remove these oil aerosols. It also facilitates the return of the separated oil back into the air compressor's sump for reuse in the lubrication process.
The efficiency of the air/oil separator filter is measured by its ability to remove a high percentage of oil aerosols by mass, typically above 99%. The 6.2018.0 can handle the flow rate of the air compressor without causing a pressure drop that would affect the performance of the air compressor.
