Oil Filters

W940/18 compressor oil filter cartridge is designed to remove impurities, such as dirt, metal shavings, and other contaminants, from the lubricating oil used within the air compressor system. The operation of the oil filter cartridge is relatively straightforward yet highly effective. As the lubricating oil flows through the air compressor, it passes through the filter cartridge, which contains filter media that trap and hold the impurities, allowing only clean oil to pass through.

The efficiency of the oil filter cartridge is determined by its ability to capture particles of a specific size. This is typically measured in microns, with smaller micron ratings indicating higher filtration efficiency.
