Air Filters

CF1200 air compressor air filter element is indeed a secondary air filter element, an additional filter element placed after the primary filter element. It provides finer filtration, catching smaller particles that may have passed through the primary filter element. It is often finer and more precise in its particle retention capabilities. This extra filtration step is particularly important in applications where the air quality must be exceptionally high.

Differences between primary and secondary air filter element:
